Ringlo Privacy Policy

Tobination LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Ringlo mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.

Data We Collect

• Account Data: Email address, display name (via Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In)
• Health Data: Heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), blood pressure, sleep stages, step count, HRV, workout data — all collected from your paired smart ring via Bluetooth Low Energy
• Device Data: Ring battery level, firmware version, MAC address
• Usage Data: Feature preferences, app settings

How We Use Your Data

• Display your health metrics in the app
• Calculate readiness scores, trends, and insights
• Enable friend sharing features (only with your explicit consent)
• Send push notifications (battery alerts, health alerts) if enabled
• Process subscription payments via RevenueCat

Data Storage

• Health data is stored locally on your device and synced to Firebase Cloud Firestore
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Firebase encryption)
• We do not sell your data to third parties

Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, cloud messaging
• RevenueCat — Subscription management
• Resend — Transactional emails (friend invitations only)

Bluetooth Permissions

Ringlo requires Bluetooth access to communicate with your smart ring. Location permission is requested on Android as required by the OS for BLE scanning — we do not track your location.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@ringloapp.com. Upon account deletion, all health data and personal information will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Ringlo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
